Hey my loves, Happy Friyaaay!

I’m sure many individuals are cuddled up Watching Christmas movies ,prepping for the holiday festivities, warming up a plate of good ole thanksgiving leftovers, or out getting their Black Friday shopping done! Or if your like me planned mini getaway! I love road trips, I find with the right person you will have a blast driving to your next destination. I’m headed to one of my favorite places. Gainesville, Florida! As my readers know I am from South Florida so Gainesville is about a 5 Hour trip possibly a 4 & a half hour trip if your cruisin on the course control with no major accidents on the turnpike.

Today I wanted to share key tips when going on a road trip everyone should have planned before their next trip!

1.Check your vehicle.

About a week before you leave for a long trip it’s very important to make sure you have your vehicles maintenance up to date. All the basics such tires, brakes, car fluids & anything else that could cause a major bump on your road trip also check tire pressure & have a spare tire always handy.

2.Anticipate trouble Spots

If your grinding out long miles/ hours it’s important to plan a head and have a time of departure. This allows for a smooth drive without the rushed feeling which can result in error.

3.Bring Games

I’m a grim believer in car games. I love it!

I’m a sucker when it comes to cross word puzzles and coloring books! Also group car ride games that make the ride so entertaining such as counting all the different state license plates you see along the way!

4.Snacks & Cool Bag

Who knows when you’ll next be able to grab a bite to eat? Pack a cool bag with tons of snacks. Nothing to heavy we all know the itis is real After a heavy meal not good when driving long trip! Pack healthy yummy eats! Such as nuts, Cliff Bars, bananas, welches gummy’s, water, & veggie chips! “I’m laughing as I write this part because everything I listed I’ve packed on my trip no itis yet! “
